Who can use the toolbox?

Any person responsible for creating a college readiness and access culture within a secondary school or district can and should use the toolbox. This includes:

  • High school counselors
  • District and school leaders
  • District staff
  • Outreach professionals and/or technical assistant providers
  • Teachers
  • Students
  • Postsecondary institution personnel
  • Pre-collegiate student development program leaders

The toolbox is most effective when used as part of a team effort, and supports a learning culture that focuses on coordination, interdependence, and 21st century skill implementation throughout the school and district. All parties must work together to create a college-ready culture that prepares students for post-secondary success.
