Pathways publishes College Readiness for All Issue Briefs
The Pathways to College Network (PCN) developed and published a series of Issue Briefs focusing on five interrelated components of effective school redesign:

These briefs elucidate each component of PCN's College Readiness for All Framework and provide related research, suggested resources, and recommendations for action. Pathways presented the Framework and the new briefs to more than 350 participants at the national NCCEP/GEAR UP Capacity-Building Workshop on Improving Student Outcomes through Research, Planning, and Practice.

Questions That Matter Conference Briefing Report Released
The Pathways to College Network along with the Institute for Higher Education Policy and the Social Science Research Council released the conference briefing report, Questions that Matter: Connecting Research, Policy, and Practice to Improve College Access and Success. Based on the findings of the June 2006 Invitational Conference for researchers, policy-shapers, and practitioners, the report summarizes participants’ ideas for future research in the areas of college preparation, college access, paying for college, and college success. This statistical brief from the National Council of La Raza (NCLR) identifies significant educational barriers facing Hispanic students and provides insight into actions needed to raise the low educational achievement levels of this fastest growing ethnic minority group.
