Create Awareness

1. Hold an orientation session. Think about who needs to be involved in a discussion about increasing postsecondary preparation for all students. The list could include central office administrators, counselors, teachers, and outreach program staff.
    
2. Make sure everyone has access to and understands the framework. The Understanding the Framework PowerPoint presentation can be used to introduce the framework and school or program efforts. Overviews of the five components may be distributed as handouts.
    
3. Mobilize a team to take next steps.
