Counselors are critical to efforts of increasing college readiness for students. Counselors can be advocates for change, provide important leadership for the change process, and build collaborative partnerships with college outreach programs and other community resources.

How do I use the college readiness framework in my own school?
The following are ways that counselors can engage their communities, in collaboration with college outreach programs, parents, and other community partners, to increase college readiness for all students.
