The strategies proposed in the framework are many of the same strategies that schools, outreach programs, and community groups are already using to improve student achievement. Users of the toolbox should:

Determine general strengths of what is in already place already.
Assess the roles practitioners have in directing, promoting, and supporting
college preparedness.
Determine what specific strategies are used in component parts and identify what needs to be included in next steps for planning.
